Ladies…Come On….She has too still have feelings for me right…Or am I delusional.?
WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? BROKE UP 5 MONTHS AGO….ONLY TOGETHER FOR 2 MONTHS…MAYBE LESS.

I have NOT made contact with her at all. I don’t play games.

She is 19 and I’m 24. I can not tell you why I still like her, I just do. This may sound sad, but not one day has gone by that I have not thought about her. I still have unfinished business with her…Or that’s how I feel. Now, this wasn’t a typical " relationship ", We hooked up the first time we ever hung out with each other. Which was a HUGE mistake. She ended it by say that she no-longer wanted be intimate with me anymore…But she wanted to remain friends. I told her that I did not want too be friends, and that I am unable to which from a physical relationship, too nothing more than friends. I can’t do it. I have been with other women in the FIVE ( 5 ) months since are split, but I still think of her…. What do I do? Tell her how I feel about her?

about a month after a split she asked me watch her pet, while she moved into a new place, I agreed and she came over. She was spending the night, as she laid in my bed, I made a move on her and she told me to STOP…Of course I did…. Ever since this happen I have not made contact with her…She stops by my job to by stuff. ( We work for the same company, just diffrent stores ) Why can’t she buy stuff at her store?

And she resently came by my place, with my roommate ( We all work for the same company, they are friends) She had not been here since that night she DENIED me. Roommate told me that she just wanted too say HI? Okay? She asked if I was seeing anyone ( I know she is/was seeing someone, because my Co-Worker told me she had a dude drop her off at my store ( I was off that day…then 2 days later she was at my house.)
Should I tell her how I feel?

Plus, she has a NEW Boyfriend….She is going to visit him for Valentine’s Day ( My roommate is going over too feed her cats, while she’s away- He told me ) HE live’s out of state….So I guess that is the writing on the wall. She is over me… Completey.. Why would she GO out of state if she didn’t really like this guy….I’m in town, I’m a great man, WTF is wrong with me?

You have been rejected and maybe even bit by the love bug….let’s see how Mr Out of Towner does with her. Be there for her if she needs you, send her a little reminder of you for her trip out of town…a little going away package, real personal items, ones she will use while she is with him and remember you.
Monique | Feb 05, 2010

I agree with you….I can’t be "Just Friends" with someone I was intimate with. It always amazes me that people say, "Yeah, we broke up, but were are still the best of friends!" Now THAT is delusional if you ask me.
That being said, it sounds like she is toying with you like a cat does with a mouse. (Not that you are a mouse at all). She might even be on an ego trip "checking in" to still see if she is attractive to the male species. I know, I know, women can be sick in the head. And I’m a woman!
She should NOT be asking you to watch her pet. Or laying on your bed, etc. Break all contact with the psycho. And, don’t worry about thinking about someone 5-10 times a day. It can take years to get someone far from your thoughts. Just think of it like a fleeting aroma that comes into your day and out again. Trust me, once you find someone new, she won’t be in your thoughts as much.
It could merely be your psyche trying to remind you to get out there and find someone special.
Let her go…she doesn’t sound worth it. She may be cute, funny, great bod, etc., but so are a lot of women. Good luck!

Order, The

Order, The
Order, The (2001)

IMDB rating: 4.10

Plot: In the year 1099, during the Crusades in the 11th Century, Christian soldiers arrive in Jerusalem and slaughter the local population. Christian soldier Charles Le Vaillant becomes demoralized by the horrors of war and decides to create a new religious order. This new order brings together, in a peaceful manner, members from the three religions of the region: Christians, Jews, and Muslims. As a self-imposed leader and messiah, Charles writes the sacred texts of the Order. The Christian Crusaders accuse Charles of heresy, and attack him and his disciples. During the attack, the last chapter from the sacred texts becomes lost in the desert. Now, in modern-day Israel, a devout contingent of Le Vaillant’s followers continues to practice his peaceful teachings. But a disciple named Cyrus has a distorted view of the Order’s peaceful intention. Rudy Cafmeyer is a thief and smuggler of valuable historical artifacts. Rudy manages to break into a high security building where he steals a Faberge Egg, the kind decorated with precious stones and manufactured expressly for the Russian Tsars. Needless to say, the alarm goes off, and Rudy has to fight his way out of the building. Despite this theft, Rudy is not really a bad guy. He stole the egg from the personal collection of a powerful Russian mafia boss. Rudy is a loving son who would do anything for his father Oscar “Ozzie” Cafmeyer. Ozzie, an archaeologist and museum curator, discovers the manuscripts that were lost during the crusades. The manuscripts clearly extol interfaith harmony. In those manuscripts, there is also an ancient map of Jerusalem, which shows the location of a mythical Jewish treasure. Ozzie travels to Israel, where Cyrus has him kidnapped. Rudy, who heard the kidnapping take place while talking to Ozzie on the phone, travels to Jerusalem to rescue Oscar. Oscar’s associate, Professor Walt Finley, hands Rudy the key to a safe-deposit box in East Jerusalem before being gunned down by unknown assailants. Israeli Police Chief Ben Ner views Rudy’s arrival with hostility and takes steps to have Rudy deported, but police lieutenant Dalia Barr risks her life and career to help Rudy — she was once a disciple of the Order, but she left when she was 18-years-old. Cyrus uses a car bomb to assassinate the Order’s leader, Pierre Gaudet, and Cyrus steps up his own rhetoric, hoping to inflame his followers. Rudy opens the safe-deposit box and finds a map that shows a series of tunnels and a treasure room beneath Jerusalem. Ben Ner, who has partnered with Cyrus, covets the gold that the underground tunnels lead to, but Cyrus hopes to plant a bomb during Ramadan that will turn the Israelis against the Palestinians. Dalia and Rudy must get to the Order’s monastery, free Ozzie, and prevent an explosion that could push tensions in the area way past the boiling point.

Shallow Grave

Shallow Grave
Shallow Grave (1994)

IMDB rating: 7.40

Plot: To avoid spoiling the movie this plot summary is very brief. It starts when three people living together in a four bedroom flat are looking for a house mate. The interviews they conduct are very unorthodox and very funny. Eventually the three agree on one prospective tenant. He moves in, locks his door, and is not seen again. After a couple of days the three become curious and break in to his room. What follows is an amazing piece of cinema and to say more would ruin it.

help with shallow grave?
I had to dig a hole for a dead cat we found on a neighbor’s lawn. the old man next door just wanted to complain and try to convince me to toss it in the trash…but I couldnt do it. So i dug a hole and buried her. problem is the grave is shallow…anyone know if the cat will sink down into the earth…should I go and buy some soil/sand and put it on top for added measure?

Unless you live in an area with a lot of wildlife that will scavenge, then a shallow grave will not be a serious problem. There may be some subsidence, but it won’t be serious. It will be gradual, and adding some soil or sand as necessary will be all that will be required. At first, since you have dug up the ground, the soil you put back on top will have expanded, so the first thing is that it will compact.

Probably the soil that was displaced by the dead cat’s body would be all the soil you would need for the future.

cat lover | Jan 29, 2010

If you don’t dig deep enough (3-4 feet) any stray animal will dig up the body. I suggest you add dirt and put some bricks over the spot.
Ocimom | Jan 29, 2010

I live on a very rocky hill with many Oak trees / roots. When I had to bury some of my animals, I dug down as far as I could ( not very, with the roots, rocks, etc ), then placed the body in the hole and covered with as much soil as I could. THEN…….I got some flowerbed "border stones" and a couple of large bags of potting soil and made a "raised flowerbed" over the grave. This makes the soil a lot deeper, and I’ve planted things in the bed…….making it very pretty, and deep enough that other animals don’t know the bodies are there..

Whenever another animal dies, I remove one end of the "border", dig another shallow hole, bury the new body, add more potting soil, and more stones……….enlarging the grave/flowerbed. I now have 3 cats and a parrot in this spot…….

Just what I had to do where I live……….Hope it helps you……..Good luck.

Looking for a World War 2 movie, presumably made in 2000 – 2008?
This movie was shown in Star movies in 2008-2009. Was based on a battle, just a little before "the battle of bulge", bcoz it mentioned in the end that this battle was forgotten owing to the commencement battle of bulge.

In it a seargent, was promoted to a lieutenant in three days and told to take on the 2 german artillery (presumably 88 flacks), after crossing fields in the night. Not only do they take out the gun positions with the fire-cylinders, but also take on some german tanks.

Its picture quality is on the same lines of:
Saving Private Ryan
Saints and Soldiers
Band of Brothers

Actually I have Saints and Soldiers, and want to make the combinational DVD with a movie on same theme. Can you suggest any other movie?
None of these movies.

Have Pearl Harbor in VCD

The movie in question premiered on HBO / Star Movies in India

What is YOUR theology?
I recently finished a project for a biblical studies class I’m taking. The class was assigned a project to write about our theology about:

1. The doctrine of Revelation
2. The doctrine of God
3. The doctrine of Christ
4. The doctrine of the Holy Spirit
5. The doctrine of Angels
6. The doctrine of Men
7. The doctrine of Salvation
8. The doctrine of the Church
9. The doctrine of Last Things
10. What is a Christian?

I handed in my project today but realized how much trouble I had with it and wanted to ask about people’s opinions. What do you think about all of this? Are you a Christian? Buddhist? Atheist? What do you believe in or not believe in?

We have a great many gars, sharks, sheepheads, lamper-eels, and every other kind of fish that is to be found, in the pond; the Gospel net has gathered them up, and what may you expect from such a mess? You may expect the best and worst of all God’s creation mingled here together.

Dude. they are all #6 – the doctrine of men.

A christian is someone who isn’t able to distinguish reality from fiction. Also they are able to read a vile piece literature and think it’s beautiful. They are delusional.

I don’t believe in anything at all, I know nothing and am a mere human being with limited understanding of things. Whatever I decide to believe in will most likely be wrong.

You missed one – the doctrine of the Trinity.
Josh3 | Feb 04, 2010

A problem with the bible and reading it, you need the Holy Spirit Luke 11:13 to really understand it, because Jesus said my word is spirit, so you need spirit to understand spirit. So that is first….the spirit will guide you into all truth. So that is probably why you are having a hard time to begin with. Then our Father in heaven wants a relationship with us to talk to Him and the bible says in Matt 5 or 6 He will answer. He wants to be your friend, counselor, everything to you. He wants to show you the way to a great life.
mare | Feb 04, 2010

I am pagan. I am very close with nature and I look to it for guidance. I chose this religion because I feel that it is right for me I believe that we are all equal and we are put on this earth to learn certain life lessons. I do believe in reincarnation but not hell. I think we pay for our wrong doings in the next life or while we are still here on earth. No matter what, nobody deserves an entirety of damnation, besides what would that teach them? My religion is a very peaceful one that focuses on preserving and protecting the earth. If you have more questions feel free to email me. =]

(And for all you jerks out there that say my life style is a "Sin" I really don’t care what you think of my life style. I live up to my own expectations and am not in this life to please you. Who are you to judge me?)
H.3.B | Feb 04, 2010

I do not label myself as part of a religion but what I believe that without question, the only thing that I must do in this life is to Love every individual I meet. Every thought, every word, every deed should be based off of true love, and this is the standard in which I hold my self by. The Bible was written by the human hand, and so what every other religious doctrine, therefore it has it’s flaws. If there is one truth in which is indisputable, it’s that humans are the most ignorant species on earth.
missouricardsfan | Feb 04, 2010

If it is just MY theology, it is of little good.

Those "teaching as doctrine the commandments of men" have a form of worship that is "vain" or useless in God’s eyes! (Matt. 15:9)

Instead of my theology, I should submit to God’s theology!

Islamic Theology, and the same theology that has this to say about Jesus (peace and blessing be upon him) in Surah 3 – Ali ‘Imran of the Qur’an:

003.045 Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! God giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to God;

003.046 "He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. And he shall be (of the company) of the righteous."

003.047 She said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?" He said: "Even so: God createth what He willeth: When He hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it, ‘Be,’ and it is!

003.048 "And God will teach him the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel,

003.049 "And (appoint him) an apostle to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "’I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God’s leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by God’s leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe;

003.050 "’(I have come to you), to attest the Law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was (Before) forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord. So fear God, and obey me.

003.051 "’It is God Who is my Lord and your Lord; then worship Him. This is a Way that is straight.’"

003.052 When Jesus found Unbelief on their part He said: "Who will be My helpers to (the work of) God?" Said the disciples: "We are God’s helpers: We believe in God, and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims.

003.053 "Our Lord! we believe in what Thou hast revealed, and we follow the Apostle; then write us down among those who bear witness."

003.054 And (the unbelievers) plotted and planned, and God too planned, and the best of planners is God.

003.055 Behold! God said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute.

003.056 "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help."

003.057 "As to those who believe and work righteousness, God will pay them (in full) their reward; but God loveth not those who do wrong."

003.058 "This is what we rehearse unto thee of the Signs and the Message of Wisdom."

003.059 The similitude of Jesus before God is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was.

003.060 The Truth (comes) from God alone; so be not of those who doubt.

003.061 If any one disputes in this matter with thee, now after (full) knowledge Hath come to thee, say: "Come! let us gather together,- our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves: Then let us earnestly pray, and invoke the curse of God on those who lie!"

003.062 This is the true account: There is no god except God; and God-He is indeed the Exalted in Power, the Wise.

003.063 But if they turn back, God hath full knowledge of those who do mischief.

003.064 Say: "O People of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but God; that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than God." If then they turn back, say ye: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to God’s Will).

I need to hear serious answers this is not a joke for me and my family!

So this is the deal she always came to my house doing whatever she liked and if she wanted to rearange my kids room she would do it and never ask!
She is always yelling insulting my husband and brother in law in front of my kids saying Stupid you Wacko, youre no good for nothing im sick of you and blah blah blah!! these things my kids. She is always critising people all the time and she is better than everyone my kids have gone to her house and they tell me that the only ones that take care of them is my husbands grandma and my brother in law my 3 yr old told me gramma was wachintg naked people in the tv and my 7yr old doenst like her she says she yells alot and she said I don’t like her because she tells you mean things and she is mean. there have been two cases where she thretned me that she is goign to take my kids away because we were goignt to live at a place where she didnt like the lady that live there and she said that was neglecting my kids evertime i am aroung her I stressed out alot more I worry more and I have no control of my house and kids she wants to have the control and she wants us to go to every family holiday and expect us to do things her way. I am not the only one that sees this my husband actually says she is krazy and he doesnt care to have her in our lives only hes Grandma but yet his grandma lives with her and she insults her all the time as well so if I keep my children away from her am I wrong because she is the grandma would she be able to go to court and suggest visitation rights! I just had enough of her of everything she does. Can I keep my kids away from her?

I wouldn’t want my kids around her. As far as her having rights, it depends on the state you live in. Georgia does not have Grandparent rights as long as you are married. A lot of the states have abolished grandparent rights. If you don’t find the answer yourself online, you can most likely call any attorney in the phone book and get the answer.

Great Debaters, The (2007)

IMDB rating: 7.70

Plot: Marshall, Texas, described by James Farmer, Jr. as “the last city to surrender after the Civil War,” is home to Wiley College, where, in 1935-36, inspired by the Harlem Renaissance and his clandestine work as a union organizer, Professor Melvin Tolson coached the debate team to a nearly-undefeated season that included the first debate between students from white and Negro colleges and ended with an invitation to face Harvard University’s national champions. The team of four, which included a female student and a very young James Farmer, is tested in a crucible heated by Jim Crow, sexism, a lynch mob, an arrest and near riot, a love affair, jealousy, and a national radio audience.

Any suggestions on how to win this debate on gay marriage?
I’m in my school’s debate club. I’ve never been great at winning arguments, but I’m very opinionated and competitive. I’m on the pro side of the gay marriage debate with two other girls (interestingly, all the people on the anti side are guys). My main argument is basically that religion should not interfere with government (i.e., "separation of church and state"), and my back-up is that marriage between two people of the same sex does not cause any sort of harm. The other side argues that the United States was founded on the basis of Christianity and therefore same-sex marriage should not be allowed; also, they say marriage has been defined as a union between a man and woman for all of history.

My other problem is, when I have to make an argument I tend to stumble over my words and get nervous and confused. This one guy on the anti side is a vicious debater, and because I can’t think as fast as he can, he always ends up winning the battle.

I’m kind of new to the whole debating thing. Any suggestions will be appreciated, but please, DON’T ANSWER IF YOU’RE JUST GOING TO PREACH.

There are some problems with your arguments. There are lots of precedents for laws that restrict or prohibit behavior that the majority finds immoral or just plain icky. Examples are laws controlling prostitution, gambling, indecent exposure, pornography, It is really not a separation of church and state issue.
The fact that a change in the law does no harm is not a good argument. Let’s say I want a law passed to give me free ice cream on my birthday. It is only a minor burden on the taxpayers and it "does no harm". That is not a good reason to pass such a law. A law should have some necessary reason or improve the public condition. The reason that the government is in the marriage business is because of procreation and the care of dependents. Although gay couples can’t breed by themselves, they can with the help of a third party. Since it is legal for them to adopt and use surrogates, they deserve the right to execute a marriage contract. Also, we don’t deny marriage contracts to heterosexuals who are known to be infertile. The most popular argument for gay marriage is the equal protection clause. It has worked in several state courts, and is being tried in federal court right now. It is likely that regardless of the outcome of the federal court case in California, it will be appealed to the US supreme court. I have my doubts that the current court will find that the 14th amendment protects gay marriage, but you never know.

CAL | Jan 29, 2010

Words have meanings that cannot just be changed because someone doesn’t like them. Marriage has such a meaning. If you want to do something different from what marriage has always meant you have to use a different name for it.
jaker | Jan 29, 2010

1. America was not actually founded on the basis of Christianity. Most of the founding fathers were deists.

2. marriage is a legal concept – not a religious one. Church and bibles and Synagogues and Torahs have no place in the wedding, unless the participants desire it. A wedding at city hall is every bit as legal and valid as one in a church.
rafferty | Jan 29, 2010

You’ve got some very strong rebuttals you could use:
–The United States was NOT founded on "the basis of Christianity."
–Marriage has NOT been between a man and a woman "for all of history." If they want to keep with the "Christian" theme, you might point out the polygamy and incest in the Bible.

Marriage is a legal contract, and should not be determined by any religion’s teachings.

For some arguments in favor, you might wish to read some of the transcripts of the Prop 8 trial currently going on in California, both for your side and for the things your opponents might bring up:

I would recommend you practice with a friend playing the part of the opposition, just so you get used to how it would feel.

The main arguments from people against gay marriage are that it’s not natural, that it serves no purpose, and that it’s immoral.

The nature of it can be debated with the fact that homosexuality has been seen in several different spices apart of humans and as for the purpose, in modern days, with 6.8 billion people in the world, and with our population increasing exponentially, we do not need as many humans reproducing, plus, if that were the purpose then old people and people who lack the ability to reproduce would not be able to get married, and as for the morals, what are our morals based on? Religion? From books written hundreds and even thousands of years ago, books promoting slavery, sexism, racism and theocracies? Why is it legal to own a gun but illegal to marry someone you love?

I'm trying to date this girl, but she knows when I was younger I was in a homosexual relationship?(long post)?
for a little history on the subject,

We’ve worked together for almost two years, and I’ve had a huge crush on this girl pretty much since I started working there. When I first started working there I was involved in a homosexual relationship and identified myself as bi-sexual. Now, I was also very reserved about saying so and also never really put such information out in the open. I’m very private when it comes to all aspects of my private life, not just because of the nature of my relationship. But, things came out over time as I worked there, especially since several people who work there are openly gay or lesbians. Within a few months of working there I determined that I liked girls alot more than I like men, I can appreciate masculine features and many characteristics men possess, but as far as sexual and emotional levels, men never satisfied me. On top of that the guy I was dating turned out to be a total loser who didn’t want to do anything but sit around the house while I worked 6-7 days a week to pay all the bills and he smoked pot (icing on the cake he was 5 years older than me when we started dating, I was 18 he was 23 and he moved in with me after 6 months of dating cuz he didn’t have anywhere to go). So i dumped him after 2 years of dating and moved out so he’d have to find somewhere to go which he did, and after a series of dramatic bull **** things that I put up with from him, once including him punching me in the face, I cut contact with him entirely.

Well, after we split up, a few months passed and I started pursuing this girl. She was (and is) the most perfect girl ever. She’s smart, funny, absolutely gorgeous, we have many of the same goals ideals and principles. She’s proper, has a taste for the finer things in life and and knows how to have fun (i.e. drinking) without getting wasted and "acting a fool". She is artistic and clever, and I could go on and on all day cuz I’m totally head over heels for this girl.

We hang out a good bit with people and alone with just each other, and she knows how I feel about her (i got a little too drunk one night after a few bottles of wine and spilled the beans like an idiot) But she has very intense reservations, (she comes from a very traditional Honduran family and many South American cultures look down on homosexuality) and her family is very important to her even though they don’t see eye to eye on a lot of things. She says that there is potential, but she has other issues going on in her life as well, and also to make things worse, a few months back , I went and hung out with some of the openly gay people I work with and went to a gay bar with them, ended up going back to one of the peoples houses with a few other people and we all had several glasses of wine, and one of the male coworkers of mine(the one whose house we were at, who is also almost 20 years older than me) made advances on me with his boyfriend present. I told him that I wasn’t interested and to leave me alone in that manner that I just wanted to hang out. things got dramatic after that and I left, but he went and told people at work an entirely different story. Obviously this got back to her and her already leery reservations, were undoubtedly intensified.

Last night I took her out to lunch, suprised her with a bouquet of flowers, and we spent all day together, went out and taught her how to shoot pool, watched forgetting Sarah Marshall, gave her an hour long back massage, and hung out drinking Maker’s Mark on the rocks(a drink I got her started on) until almost 3 in the morning. When I got up to leave, I made the first move I’ve ever made on her and tried to kiss her and she turned away( another thing about this is that we’ve spent the night together over 6-7 times before this, nothing intimate just hanging out talking and sleeping in the same bed). This was when this whole thing was brought up and laid out on the table. I told her that, I had no further interest in men and would not betray that trust and long story short, she said that it wasn’t a "completely closed chapter" and that regardless of what happened she always wanted me to be around and a part of her life.

I’m in LOVE with this girl, I know I don’t have a right to be, but I am infatuated with her, she never strays far from my thoughts I think about her all the time. I try and think of ways to make her laugh and smile, and just try and make her happy in general. I’m 22 years old now, almost fluent in her native tongue(spanish), I have a good salary job, and I own the house that I live in. I’m established, intelligent, fiscally responsible, funny, in pretty good shape, and pretty good looking (not to sound concieted or anything, I’d give myself like a 7.5 on the looks thing haha)

What can I do to make her want to overlook my past and give me a chance??
