Plot: Baron Manfred von Richthofen (Schweighofer) is the most feared and celebrated pilot of the German air force in World War I. To him and his companions, air combats are events of sporty nature, technical challenge and honorable acting, ignoring the terrible extent of war. But after falling in love with the nurse Kate (Headey), Manfred realizes he is only used for propaganda means. Caught between his disgust for the war, and the responsibility for his fighter wing, von Richthofen sets out to fly again.

Why do Governments "Borrow" money from Banks at interest to pay for Wars?
The UK Independent of 9 Nov 2009, carried an article entitled Remembrance: ‘At least we knew what we were fighting for in 1944′, and invited comment.

Did we really know?? Only a very few knew what was being fought for and why. It was not for "Freedom and Democracy".
Wars are deliberately brought about by rich and powerful people, for the sole purpose of their becoming more rich and more powerful.
It is for the same people, and for the same reason, that present wars are being fought. It is those same rich and powerful people who send our young men and women to die. And it is all for the profit of those same rich and powerful people. It was the same in 1939. Nothing has changed. The rich and powerful people don’t fight, but they send our red-blooded youth as cannon fodder, to die for their gain, and their gain alone.
And where do our governments get the money to finance these wars of aggression? They borrow it from the banks, of course. And just exactly where do these banks [which are owned by those rich and powerful people] get the money to loan to our governments, by which loans they put our governments, meaning us ordinary citizens, in their debt?? All while charging usurious rates of interest on their loans to our government?
Precisely. meaning precisely, where does the money come from?? It is created out of thin air, at the very moment it is accepted by our government as a loan. Quotations below verify this statement.

So, can someone please tell me WHY do we continue with this OBVIOUS con?
I am not talking about how much money is spent, I am talking about WHY DO THE GOVERNMENTS BORROW IT from privately owned Banks and pay INTEREST instead of printing it themselves FOR FREE!
Our government created income tax temporarily to help cover the money they borrowed for the war. I’m still waiting to hear from them that they have the loan paid off and we no longer have to pay income tax.

Our economy is sustained by the military industrial complex. We therefore need to keep pumping money into the war machine to keep our country afloat. It is well known that the U.S. outspends all of its proposed enemies on defense x10. What’s less known is that defense contractors are among the largest employers in the U.S.. Until we transition away from a military economy, we will continue to beg, borrow and steal to keep filling the pockets of laborers, executives and shareholders.
