Boy kitten "Ichabod" actually a girl! Any name ideas?
A friend of mine found a tiny little month old kitten abandoned and took him to the SPCA (he had 2 dogs and couldn’t keep the kitten himself). The SPCA couldn’t take him saying that he was too small to be taken without a mommy cat and would be put to sleep! The SPCA told him the kitten was a male and about a month old. So he called me and of course I took the kitty! Thinking he was a little boy we named him Ichabod (after Ichabod Crane in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow). The kitten is tiny and all black/charcoal and looks like he could become long haired. He’s fuzzy and very weird looking at the moment! Sort of like a little fuzzy bat.

Sooo, I take little "Ichabod" to the vet the day after getting him and find out- "Ichabod" is a GIRL! So what should I do about her name?
Ichabod fits really well and has been sticking. And the nickname Icky is so sweet and funny for this scruffy little kitty.

Would keeping Ichabod be bad for a girl kitty?
Any other suggestions that would fit her scruffy weird look?
Or any girl names that could give the nickname Icky?

To add: "Icky"’s vet appointment went really great. She’s in really good health considered she was dumped and left alone for who knows how long! She’s about 1.3lbs and the vet estimates she’s about 5-6weeks. She is GOBBLING up wet food like there’s no tomorrow, and pooping in a cat box all on her own. (I’m seriously impressed!). She can play and runs little a little bunny when she gets excited! She’s still very much a baby (plays like mad for 30mins and crashes and deep deep sleeps for 30mins, etc).

Call her whatever she come too..thats the best way to name a cat. I think black kittens are so adorable. We had one that was so Unique that because she was a girl we took Unique and made it Nick-which turned into Nikki. Fit her since she was a playful little thing—If you’re looking for a halloween thing, think of witches kitties, salem off of sabrina–call her brina Just being funny. Anyways good luck. Whatever you decide will fit perfectly

I still thinks its a cute name, you could add an ‘a’ on the end though to make it sound more feminine. Do you know how to take care of kittens that young though? She should still be bottle fed a milk replacer formula and also needs to be stimulate with a cottonball to use the bathroom (rub gently on her bottom). When she gets a few weeks older you can start trying to feed her wet canned kitten food (even mixing in a little formula with it). Good luck!!

that is the CUTEST NAME EVER for a little kitten…even for a girl kitty. its really cute! i always love icky too. if you like it, then keep it! But if you think it is too weird then change it. My cats name is Chris, and the other ones name is Tiger. Here are some other names you might want to use:

Charcoal
Coco
Coal?? idk
Fuzz (that is cute)
Fuzz ball (thats even cuter)

"Pitter" and "Patter" would be a good name for two pets.
