No, that would be a very racist thing to do. The shootings in Finland are terrible (although this is the first I’ve heard of them). I just think that there are good and bad people of all nationalities/races. We can’t blame all Finns for what this one person has done. Also, in this particular case, the UK is safe from this person because he is dead.

i also love to write! i am about the same age as you and usually the beginnings are harder to start. you could always start about where the character is… like is a basement… etc. it they were sneaking around and wearing jewelry you could say… " as she snuck through the dark and gloomy basement, her golden earrings dangled from her ears." you can introduce each character by a chain of events. maybe the character you started out with could trip or fall and another character could help them. after the beginning (if you really get into it) ideas just flow. everyone has a different type of writing and expresses their writing in different ways. i am just telling you the way i introduce my characters in my stories. this is the way i am writing my novel right now!

Teacher Casually Called Me Attractive? Should I Do Anything?
I think I might be reading way to into this because I over think a lot of situation and read too much into what people say to me.
So the day before Christmas vacation me and one of my friends (That’s a couple grades younger than me) needed to get into our school computer lab. We went to one of our teachers and asked him for a key. Instead of giving us the key he walked with us to unlock it himself. I was fine with that because he’s a cool teacher and I actually like having conversations with him, he’s very easy going and fun to joke around with (we have a few inside jokes actually). When we were walking my friend said "What? You don’t trust us with your key or something?" And he jokingly said "Now why would I trust some crazy person like you to keep my key safe? It’s like giving a prisoner the key to freedom!". And then she answered "Well I’m in your class! You should trust me!" And he’s like "I actually trust Emma more ha ha" and then my friend said "What?!? She’s not even in your class!" and he said "Well no, she’s not…unfortunately" then My friend said "You’d really want someone that crazy in your class?" (Apparently I’m crazy in her eyes ha ha). Then he said "Well yeah, who wouldn’t want someone as boss and attractive as Emma in their class? It would definitely make the guys pay attention!" Then he looked at me and we all just kinda laughed. At first I was kind of flattered, but after these past few days of vacation thinking it over, I’m not sure if it meant something else. So am reading too much into this?

yeah youre probably over reading it. Men are still men even if they are teachers, and they will still say dumb things. Let it go. Making a big deal about something like that, and discussing it with your friends can make serious trouble for him! People are so sensitive about *teacheres and students*, (if you kwim). He could seriously loose his job if they wrong type of rumors get started.

That’s just harmless joking. Don’t read too much into that yet. Besides if you are cute. faulting him for admitting it is just harsh. Teachers have to build self esteem and walk the very thin line between joking and flirting when dealing with kids you can’t always tell the difference.

When is it time to ask for a raise in small office?
I have been working as a part-time secretary/office manager for a surgeon for over a year now. I started off with a good salary which was higher than average. I enjoy my job, feel I am working well but have not been offered a raise yet. Do you think it’s too soon to ask for one? I don’t want to bring in any bad vibes since we seem to get along well. I also find it a little uncomfortable seeing I am her only employee and she treats me well (still pays me for days when she is away, etc.) Should I just wait a bit longer or not expect a raise in this situation?

Name that 80's tv horror/suspense series?
Okay this is pretty random..I remember this 80’s short lived horror/suspense series that was in the vein of Twin Peaks in the respect that it was an ongoing series, rather than episodic like Tales from the Darkside or Twilight Zone.

The only thing I can remember, is that the opening sequence featured an image of a front door where words written in blood materialize which said, ’someones at the door.’ It wasn’t Tales, Twilight, Amazing Stories, Creepshow…

It was a pretty scary show and kinda weird like Twin Peaks from what I can remember, but I was a kid way back then. Thanks for any help!

2 1/2 month old baby… possible eatting issues…?
so my daughter eats about.. every 2 hours during the day.. and every 4 to 5 during the night. She eats about 3 to 3 1/2 oz. every feeding, but when her bottle is empty she just screams and cries for a few mintues afterwards… like when i try to burp her.. then she spits up after every feeding and throughout the way.. not just a lil spit up, after she eats she throws up.. then spits up during the day…

before bed and when she wakes up i give her about a Tbsp of rice cereal in her formula, it helps to hold her over while she sleeps. [she drinks similac isomil because shes got a lactose allergy] At 6 wks, she got colic because of the milk we were giving her to we switched to isomil and that has cured that lil problem, but other then that.. she is a healthy lil baby girl.

because she cries should i increase the amount i feed her, or should i continue it because she throws up… how do i keep her from throwing up so much…does her weight have anything to do with how much i should be giving her?
