It dries out your hair, so be careful not to straighten it too much, or blow dry it too much, unless you put conditioner and stuff in it.
Constant hairspray will dry out your scalp too, and then your hair will be slightly damaged. If you don’t use it alot, all the time, then you should be good.

Yes-it depends on the type of hairspray. Many gels and hair sprays have lots of alcohol and silicone’s in them which coat your hair and make it look shiny,yet block moisture and cause dryness and breakage. Aloe vera gel works great but its a bit pricey, you can find it at a health food store, vitamin shop or gnc. You can use a good conditioner to slick back your hair as well.

Why can't Canada's green party expand itself?
I think Canada’s green party should be the party of women, innocence, cleanliness, environment, nature-loving, peace, like appeal to idealism and like the party of Planet Venus, with a women’s rights element led by Elizabeth May.

They could win environmental votes by using a seduction (take colorful blankets made of recycled organic materials, and have Green Party campaign girls cuddle in them and put flowers in their hair and tie dye peace signs on the quilts and then roll down Parliament Hill).

And it would be like Canada’s version of the American hippie girls and the guys would of course go crazy and it woudl spark incredible notoriety and then the Green Party votes would start increasing.

Why can’t Canada’s Green Party try this? I mean be seductive but in an innocent way, where it’s like hemp dresses and leave it to the imagination.

Then Canadians would start turning towards Elizabeth May’s party. And they would play the renaissance song "Now is the month of Maying"
As for the comment about using sexuality to sell, the idea is NOT to discriminate based on looks of which girls can join. I’m not from Canada, but I suspect the Green Party of Canada is not campaigning to shut down businesses, or ban wood manufacturing or even crude oil.

The Green Party rather believed these businesses should develop action plans to contribute their share of environmental obligations. They are also likely a consumer protection party. They also likely believe their campaign for a healthier environment if successful will reduce illnesses and lower medical costs. They likely have a shot on a moderate environmental platform.

well, first of all your interest in hippie girls is slight disturbing…. in someways your touting a sex sells attitude which I highly doubt is a core value of the green party. The biggest problem is that a stronger green party means vote splitting which results in less than ideal candidates winning their ridings and ultimately getting enough seats to form a government. Case in point the last election, seats were won and lost by less than a hundred votes….this lead to yet another conservative government. Ultimately, we have a crowded political field and unless one party become across the board dominate I highly doubt the green party can develop. Lawful action to take when police cover for each other?
Just saw "Lakeview Terrace", starring Samuel L Jackson as a ‘hardcore tough justice’ police officer. His interracial couple neighbors tried to complain about his antisocial activities only to find a lackluster response as the semi-crooked cop in question works at that local precinct.

Now I know *in theory* the police are suppose to be upstanding and impartial in their work but what lawful course of action can be taken when police or other law enforcement officers are colluding, ignoring or endorsing illegal activities due to close affiliation with the individual in question.

Simply put, who protects us when those who are suppose ‘To Serve and Protect’ are the ones we need protection from?

I’d be very interested in the opinion of any current or past law enforcement officers.

In real life complaints are investigated and if wrong doing is found then disciplinary action is taken. If the agency fails to act in an ethical manner then the State Attorney General would be a resource. I have never seen an agency fail follow up on a serious complaint and I have worked for four of them so far and know Officers in plenty of others. TV makes for a better story then reality.

I’m surprised Jimmy Whispers hasn’t posted on this yet, he drools for any excuse to dump on cops. I’ve been a police officer for a while now. Every complaint is handled by command staff to protect them and the department. Very rarely will you ever find these movie scenarios. Between the movies, news and scumbag lawyers looking to jump on any mistakes we make, this kind of thing just isn’t possible. Of course not all officers are upstanding citizens and we ALL pay for them. But on the whole, if one officer does bad, the others will look down on him as an embarrassment. Not help him cover up.

I think I would choose Bally’s. It is an older property, but it’s still in great condition, and you can’t beat its location. It’s right in the center of the strip, near so many other resorts, attractions, shopping, etc. You can walk just about anywhere else on the strip pretty quickly and easy from Bally’s, and there is also a Deuce stop nearby and a Monorail stop behind it.

Excalibur is also a nice place. It’s located further south on the strip, but also near a lot of other active places. It does have a more childish theme and feel to it, and tends to cater to families. It’s not like there are tons of kids running around there, but you’re more likely to find them there than at Bally’s. But the rooms are nice, the rates are good, and the location is pretty decent.

My wife and I stayed at Ballys, we’ve never stayed at Excalibur, so can’t comment. But we were happy with Ballys. It’s one of the older properties now, but the price is right and it’s not ‘that bad" if you are mainly just looking for a place to flop at when you’re tired. We had an excellent view of Paris Paris and the fountains at Bellagio, which was cool. You are very centrally located and can take the Deuce where ever you want. Easy walks to Ceasars, Bellagios, so many things "right there" within a 10 or 15 minute walk. It was great, would stay there again.

I like Ballys, but stay in one of the Deluxe rooms in the North Tower. They cost a liitle more but are very nice. The Cheaper Classic rooms in the South Tower have not been remodled in a long time and are pretty bad. Ballys is centrally located and you just walk through the mall to get to the Paris Casino. Ceasars is just across the street.

Excalibur is kind of cheesy unless you are really into the medevil knights and castle theme.

My iPhone 3GS screen is smashed?
My iPhone screen just got completely smashed (the glass is all shattered) by a bottle of deoderant falling on it slightly :’( and the only thing keeping the glass in place is my screen protector.
Anyways I was wondering will this be able to be fixed at the genius bar? and if my phone is still under warranty will I have to pay for the screen replacement/get a replacement phone while they are fixing it? Or do they give you a new phone? Im wondering about the replacement phone as I have no other phones which will work with an o2 sim card so would be without a phone for a while.

Your warranty only covers technical problems, so you’ll probably have to pay for them to replace it for you. Also, you could take your old phone to the vodafone shop or carephone warehouse and ask them to unlock it so it will accomodate all networks. They usually do that for free.
